Hosted read-only endpoint. It serves the same reviewed registry used by the website. Keep your local Perspective project and Gateway available to your agent.

Find

• search_components — Find resources by operator task or component name. Results report weak matches.
• list_components — List native components with Free and Pro availability.
• search_docs — Find reviewed Perspective guidance with Ignition version, official sources and local context.

Read

• get_component — Read parameters, view path, required files and provenance.
• get_examples — Get example params and native Embedded View props.
• list_catalog_examples — Browse website examples. Free catalog snapshots can be inspected with get_catalog_component; locked entries expose preview metadata only.
• get_component_source — Read registered view and style files with SHA-256 hashes.
• get_catalog_component — Read a Free catalog component’s actual parameters, dependency files and ZIP. Include source on request.
• get_doc — Read a native layout, embedding or event guide with examples and source links.

Validate and use

• validate_usage — Check parameter names, types and enum values before composing.
• get_install_instructions — Read the actual import steps and release availability.
• get_agent_skill — Load the workflow or a focused reference into your agent.
• get_audit_checklist — Get the checks for native Perspective acceptance.

Tools return registered resources and reviewed guidance. They do not operate equipment, write tags or deploy to your Gateway.

1. Choose your agent and add the hosted MCP connection.
2. Confirm that the server and its tools are available.
3. Install the free skill and describe the Perspective interface you need.

Both plans use the same endpoint, tools and skill. Pro changes the resources available to you. Premium matches are marked as locked; their source and private examples are not returned to Free clients.

The hosted endpoint exposes the same Free registry as the website. Pro resources remain marked as locked until access is released. Access to a resource does not mean its import ZIP has been released.

Connection failed? Confirm that your agent uses the hosted URL above and that your network allows HTTPS POST requests to it.

A browser check confirms this endpoint responds; your agent must still connect from its own environment. Opening the endpoint directly in a browser returns 405 because MCP uses POST. The endpoint is read-only and does not operate equipment, write tags or deploy to your Gateway.
