Teach your agent how to build native Perspective interfaces with Rungsmith Components & Blocks.
Install
Choose your agent, then run the command from your project folder. Requires Node.js 20 or later and an internet connection.

The installer adds the skill and its references to your project. It leaves MCP settings and Gateway files alone. Identical files are kept; local changes stop the installation so they can be preserved.
Focused skills
Add --skill rungsmith-install or --skill rungsmith-faceplates to the installer command. The default remains rungsmith-perspective. Each package is versioned and hash-checked; customized local files are never overwritten.
Free example toolbars include AI prompt. Copy it to your agent, or request get_component_prompt through MCP for the same installation workflow. The prompt carries the component and example IDs; source and permissions come from the server.

Read the project
Identify the Ignition version, existing views, theme and available space.
Find and inspect
Search the registry, read the real parameters and resolve dependencies.
Compose native views
Reuse registered views and styles, then validate their parameters.
Verify in Perspective
Check import, events, layout and states in the real client.
For a missing or locked block, the agent explains the gap and can compose from available free resources. It never presents a reconstructed screen as the original premium block.

The MCP supplies current resources, contracts, source and references. The skill teaches the agent when to search, what to inspect and how to adapt and verify the result.
The Perspective skill v0.5.0 works with both plans. Focused installation and faceplate skills v1.0.0 are also available. Clients without local skill support can request the installation or faceplates section through get_agent_skill.
